The Queen Anne's County High School Jazz Band, like the Marching Band, is an extra-curricular activity.  Beginning after the Marching Band Season has ended, the Jazz Band members meet after school twice a week to rehearse music intended for Winter and Spring Concerts.  Because jazz music consists of more brass instruments and saxophones than flutes and clarinets, some students play a different instrument than they normally play.  Jazz Band is an excellent opportunity to continue extra practice and to be rewarded with success at the same time.
